Basketball Recap: Riverside Chargers vs. Central Valley Cougars

Riverside played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Central Valley Cougars, falling 45-24. The Chargers were down 42-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside and nudges their season record down to 3-14. As for Central Valley, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Riverside will square off against Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-36 loss against Elgin/Pope John on the 28th.
