Football Recap: Williamsburg Starts off Right with Win over Reading

Williamsburg had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Reading Blue Devils on Friday.

Williamsburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gray Robinson out in front who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. The dominant performance also gave Robinson a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Another receiver making a difference was Landon Hittle, who gained 165 total yards and a touchdown.

Williamsburg has already played their next matchup, a 28-12 win against New Richmond on the 29th. As for Reading, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 34-21 defeat against Batavia on the 29th.
