Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Regional Golden Eagles. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 57-49.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Central Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Hamilton has already played their next matchup (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-51 defeat against Cedar Creek on the 14th.
