Westwood took a 14-run defeat the last time they faced off against Groesbeck, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Goats on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Groesbeck, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7-1.
