After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cole Camp, Smithton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Green Ridge.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 16-25, 25-6.

Jozie Moulton paced Smithton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Moulton got some help from Player #11 and her 11 assists. Aubree Huddleston controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Smithton's win bumped their record up to 11-15-1. As for Green Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15-1.

Smithton has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Osceola on the 18th. Hopefully Green Ridge paid attention to Smithton's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Smithton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
