Volleyball Game Preview: Kearns Cougars vs. Cyprus Pirates

Kearns is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Cyprus a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Kearns Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Cyprus Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kearns saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain Crest.

Meanwhile, Cyprus didn't have quite enough to beat Taylorsville on Thursday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cyprus sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-11, 23-25, 15-7.

Cyprus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Kearns, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
