Softball Recap: South Lyon Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

After only one run in their last matchup, South Lyon made sure to put some runs up on the board against Glenn on Friday. The Lions blew past the Rockets 10-2. Considering the Lions have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

South Lyon pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Glenn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season.

South Lyon will have a chance to go back-to-back against Glenn: the pair will be back at it again later today.
