The Laughlin Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Beaver Dam Diamondback at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Laughlin will be strutting in after a victory while Beaver Dam will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Laughlin against Sandy Valley as the team secured a 49-15 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Beaver Dam unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against Pahranagat Valley, falling 63-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Diamondback have suffered since December 9, 2025.

Laughlin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.1 points on average over those games. As for Beaver Dam, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Everything went Laughlin's way against Beaver Dam in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as Laughlin made off with a 54-30 win.
