Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Hillcrest took on Monroe County on Monday. The Jaguars took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Monroe County, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe County, they will be playing at home against T.R. Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
