Softball Recap: Pecos Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Pecos came into Thursday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Mescalero Apache Chiefs on Thursday by a score of 18-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The game marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season.

Pecos' win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Mescalero Apache, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Pecos is taking a road trip to face off against Raton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mescalero Apache, they will challenge Capitan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight.
