Softball Recap: Orange Grove Comes Up Short

Orange Grove's last matchup with San Diego could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 13-3 to the Vaqueros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vaqueros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-15 back in March.

Orange Grove saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaydyn Tabarez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Orange Grove has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season. As for San Diego, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Orange Grove will square off against rival Bishop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, San Diego is set to challenge their familiar foe London at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
