Basketball Recap: Chatham's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Chatham entered their match against Magna Vista on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chatham Cavaliers lost 55-35 to the Magna Vista Warriors. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Chatham had strong showings from Jakiyah Giggetts, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards, and Sydney Ward, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 57.1% of Chatham's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.
