Plano won the last time they faced Newark and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Reapers came out on top against the Norsemen by a score of 55-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Reapers.

Newark lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cody Kulbartz, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 21 boards. Kulbartz is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reggie Chapman, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Plano's record now sits at 2-3. As for Newark, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Plano will square off against Illinois Math & Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newark, they will challenge Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Norsemen their first taste of in-conference action this season.
