Basketball Recap: Alto Skates Past Mt. Enterprise with Ease

Alto won the last time they faced Mt. Enterprise and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alto Yellowjackets blew past the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats 81-53. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Mt. Enterprise's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaegan Ash, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Ash has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Wilburn, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Alto has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Mt. Enterprise, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Coincidentally, Alto and Mt. Enterprise will both be playing Douglass the next time they take the court. Alto will head out to face Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Enterprise will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
