Powell strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Campbell County Cougars 49-0. Considering the Panthers have won three matchups by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Deuce Rodgers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 144 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Lamiere Porter was another key player, picking up 22 receiving yards and one TD.

Powell's record is now 6-0. As for Campbell County, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powell will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson County at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Campbell County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sweetwater at 7:00 p.m. The Cougars will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
