Rockport-Fulton entered their tilt with Robstown on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Cottonpickers with a sharp  33-12 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won five contests by 20  points or more  so far this season.
It was another big night for  Traey Alvarado, who rushed for 121 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaxon Keown, who rushed for 51 yards and one  score.

 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rockport-Fulton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 288  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 162  rushing yards in 16 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Rockport-Fulton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Reid Snyder and  Ford Anderson. Anderson got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Rockport-Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Robstown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
 Coincidentally, Rockport-Fulton and Robstown will both be playing Sinton the next time they take the field. The Cottonpickers will  host the Pirates at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st, while the Pirates will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on November 7.
