Downey had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Warren Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 11th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Downey got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-7, 23-25, 27-25, 18-25, 15-9.

Downey's record now sits at 15-7. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Downey and Warren will both be playing Norwalk the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Lancers on Thursday, while the Bears will host them at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
