Volleyball Recap: Jeffersonville Takes a Loss

Jeffersonville lost against Oldham County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 3-2.

Jeffersonville took Oldham County into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-18, 26-28, 25-18, 15-13.

Jenna Kelley paced Jeffersonville's offense, picking up 19 kills. Kelley got some help from Riley Dobson and her 37 assists. Aleah Byers controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jeffersonville dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Jeffersonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Charlestown on the 21st. Oldham County has also already played their next contest (against Collins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
