Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. Lester Prairie Bulldogs
The Roosevelt Teddies's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They strolled past Lester Prairie with points to spare, taking the game 73-56. With that victory, Roosevelt brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.
Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Wren, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and five assists. Wren hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Jaida Walker was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lester Prairie, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Roosevelt will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Fillmore Central/Lanesboro at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lester Prairie, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome West Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th.
