Baseball Recap: Mountain View Spartans vs. Gunn Titans
Mountain View barely beat Gunn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 8-2 victory on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Wednesday.
Brennan Dooley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
