Basketball Recap: Immaculate Takes a Loss

Immaculate lost against Notre Dame Prep back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Immaculate Mustangs were beaten by the Notre Dame Prep Lancers 76-46. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Lancers are ranked ninth).

Immaculate now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Notre Dame Prep, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immaculate will head out to take on New Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pomperaug at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
