Basketball Preview: Greene Central Rams vs. Washington Pam Pack

Greene Central and the Pam Pack are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Greene Central Rams will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Washington Pam Pack at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Greene Central beat the Chargers 76-67.
Greene Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalin Sutton, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sutton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Denelly Coppedge, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Washington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 94-55 loss at the hands of Farmville Central. While losing is never fun, Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 22nd).
Greene Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Washington, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.
Greene Central couldn't quite finish off the Pam Pack in their previous matchup back in January and fell 69-66. Can Greene Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
