USC added to its star-studded recruiting class Saturday as five-star wide receiver prospect Amon-Ra St. Brown of Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) committed to the program during the U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio.

St. Brown, who chose the Trojans over Notre Dame and Stanford among others, has been on quite a run over the past month or so.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound playmaker helped the Monarchs go 15-0 this season, winning section, state and national titles. St. Brown caught 72 passes for 1,320 yards and 20 touchdowns in just 12 games.

On Saturday, he caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from his high school teammate JT Daniels with 9:13 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10-10. He then proceeded to punt the ball into the stands. Shortly after that, St. Brown announced his decision live on national TV.

The Trojans now have pledges from eight of the Top 150 prospects in the 247Sports Composite, including Daniels, linebacker Palaie Gaoteote of Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) and athlete Talanoa Hufanga of Crescent Valley (Corvallis, Ore.).

St. Brown has two older brothers playing wide receiver at a high level. Equanimeous St. Brown just declared for the NFL Draft after a successful three-year career at Notre Dame. Osiris St. Brown was expected to make an impact at Stanford as a true freshman but missed the season with an injury.

Other All Americans who made college choices Saturday in San Antonio: linebacker JJ Peterson of Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) to Tennessee, offensive lineman Chris Murray of Mater Dei to UCLA, safety Kelvin Joseph of Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, La.) to LSU, receiver Rondale Moore of Trinity (Louisville, Ky.) to Purdue and cornerback Brendan Radley-Hiles of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) to Oklahoma.

St. Brown's West team pulled out a 17-16 victory, despite a touchdown catch and run by Georgia-bound running back James Cook of Central (Miami, Fla.).
