Basketball Recap: Dawson School Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Dawson School Mustangs lost to the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels on the road by a 46-30 margin. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden View Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Max Lindgren, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. Lindgren has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Jacob Walker was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Dawson School's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Golden View Classical Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Dawson School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-48 victory against Clear Creek on the 31st. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Poudre Community Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Golden View Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.9 points per game this season.
