Volleyball Recap: Barry Western Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Allison Woods and Loryn White

Barry Western lost against Quincy Notre Dame back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Barry Western was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Loryn White and Allison Woods certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. White had 12 digs, while Woods had five digs.

Barry Western's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Quincy Notre Dame, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Barry Western wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Calhoun on the 7th. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Augusta Southeastern on the 7th.
