Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Grayson Gaines stepped things up a notch to give St. Joseph the 'W'. Nobody could stop Gaines as he rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 55 receiving yards.

Looking ahead, Gaines and St. Joseph will challenge Hanford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bullpups will enter the matchup having just beaten Sanger, so the Knights will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
