Volleyball Recap: Maclay Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chiles, Maclay was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Madison County Cowboys by a score of 3-1.

Maclay was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-8, 25-17.

Maclay's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Madison County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Maclay has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Lincoln on the 25th. As for Madison County, they will host Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Cowboys their first taste of in-conference action this season.
