Basketball Recap: Louisburg Warriors vs. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans
Louisburg played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 62-39 to the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans. The Warriors have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Southern School of Energy and Sustainability to victory were Aliyah Herndon and Jakayla Palmer. Herndon dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards, while Palmer went 8-for-15 on her way to 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Palmer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 22 games she's played. Ashlyn Hudson was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 11 boards and four steals.
