Softball Game Preview: Franklin Knights vs. West Middlesex Big Reds

The Franklin Knights are taking a road trip to take on the West Middlesex Big Reds at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Franklin hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Franklin lost 12-2 to Grove City on Friday.

Abigail Boland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, West Middlesex was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 5-0 to Mercer. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

West Middlesex has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
