Mesa Vista is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over Santa Rosa. 58 seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Texico hadn't done well against Pecos recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Texico came out on top against Pecos by a score of 55-43. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Texico's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Mesa Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4.
