Softball Recap: Tawas Area Comes Up Short

Tawas Area fell victim to Traverse City Central and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Braves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tawas Area now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Traverse City Central, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tawas Area will square off against Rogers City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Traverse City Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gaylord at 4:15 p.m. on May 6.
