Football Recap: Lindale Skates Past Mabank with Ease + How To Watch

While Lindale put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Mabank. The Eagles blew past the Panthers, posting a 49-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Leading Lindale to victory were David Lindig and Reed Carnathan. Lindig picked up 48 receiving yards and one score, while Carnathan threw for 48 yards and one touchdown.

Lindale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mabank only rushed for 27.

Lindale pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Mabank, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
