Baseball Recap: Cypress Creek Coyotes vs. Zephyrhills Bulldogs
While Cypress Creek put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Zephyrhills. The Coyotes came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 5-0. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Cooper Neale tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Cypress Creek got a big performance out of Deacon Turpin, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Turpin has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jason Olds, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
Cypress Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Zephyrhills only managed two.
Cypress Creek's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Zephyrhills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
Looking ahead, Cypress Creek will take on South Sumter in a tournament on Monday. As for Zephyrhills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
