Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-7 loss at the hands of the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans. While losing is never fun, Auburn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Maroa-Forsyth is ranked 80th).

Jack Jones threw for 125 yards while completing 75% of his passes. Carter Hunley was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards. On the ground, Caden Venrick rushed for 43 yards.
