Basketball Recap: East Carter Takes a Loss

East Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Adair County Indians.

East Carter now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Adair County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

East Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-66 victory against Marion County on the 28th. As for Adair County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-47 loss against East Carter on the 29th.
