Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Santa Fe walked away with it. They breezed past the Norborne Pirates to the tune of 43-13 on Thursday. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Mia Lark was the offensive standout of the contest as she went 5-for-9 on her way to 12 points and four steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Michael, who posted nine points.

Santa Fe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Santa Fe pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points on average over those games. As for Norborne, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.

Santa Fe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-37 victory against Wellington-Napoleon on the 1st. Norborne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
