Basketball Recap: Early's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Early suffered their closest loss since November 11, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Ozona Lions by a score of 41-39. The Longhorns were up 39-24 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Early's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Ozona, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Early will head out on the road to square off against Eastland at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Ozona, they will face off against Eldorado at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Ozona is facing Eldorado at the right time seeing as Eldorado is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
