Jay Butterfuss leads a balanced attack to beat Truckee

The South Tahoe Vikings had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Truckee with a sharp 64-39 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory South Tahoe has posted yet this season.

South Tahoe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jay Butterfuss led the charge by scoring 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Phil Adina, who scored 16 points.

South Tahoe's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game.
