Oakdale came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mountain House. This was a revenge game for Oakdale: when they faced off against Mountain House back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Oakdale never let Mountain House on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-12.

Oakdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Payton Wilson led the charge by getting 13 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Wilson a new career-high.

Wilson wasn't the only good servers: Oakdale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in six consecutive matchups.

Oakdale's record is now 9-10. As for Mountain House, they dropped their record down to 10-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
