Football Game Preview: Tioga Bulldogs vs. Whitewright Tigers + How To Watch

Tioga is a perfect 3-0 against Whitewright since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Tioga knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Whitewright likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Tioga came up short against Tom Bean and fell 47-38. Despite 158 more yards than the Tomcats, the Bulldogs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Tioga might have lost, but man, Greeley McAden was a machine: he rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 245 yards and one TD. McAden was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Hernandez, who gained 136 total yards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 41 points the game before, Whitewright was a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They were dealt a 69-6 loss at the hands of Tom Bean.

Whitewright's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tioga, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Tioga was able to grind out a solid victory over Whitewright when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 34-27. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
