Football Recap: Ontonagon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ontonagon was the 50-14 winner over North Dickinson when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Gladiators came up short against the Nordics on Friday, falling 62-42. That's two games in a row now that the Gladiators have lost by exactly 20 points.

Ontonagon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Dickinson, the victory (which was their eighth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ontonagon will venture away from home to square off against Bessemer on Saturday. As for North Dickinson, they will challenge Rapid River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Nordics will be up against the Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.6 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
