Soccer Recap: Atlantic Finishes Even with Mainland

The matchup between Atlantic and Mainland on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. Both finished up on equal footing with a 5-5 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Sharks have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

They hit Mainland with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jose Salazar (2), Jeyson Ortega, Denilson Maldonado, and Eli Remsburg.

Atlantic's draw makes their record 4-7-2 this season. Meanwhile, Mainland's record is now 2-9-1.

Atlantic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Master's Academy on the 8th. As for Mainland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Deltona on the 8th.
