             Millard North had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the North Platte Bulldogs with a sharp  14-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 17 contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Abby Beard and  Macey Jarose did most of the damage at the plate:  Beard  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Jarose  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Jarose is also on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hayden Nelson, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Millard North  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  hit at least nine  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
 Millard North has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 15 of their last 17 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record  this season. As for North Platte, their loss was  their eighth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-18.
