Football Recap: Harmony Eagles vs. Sabine Cardinals
Harmony lost against Sabine back in November of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Harmony Eagles were outmatched by the Sabine Cardinals on the road and fell 42-7. The Eagles have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
A big part of the victory came down to the chemistry between Colt Sparks and his top target Bryce Pobuda. Sparks threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while Pobuda picked up 127 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards. Chris Williams got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Harmony's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sabine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Harmony will host Beckville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sabine, they will take on New Diana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
