Soccer Recap: Lake Pointe Academy Falls to Kingdom Leadership in First Game of Season

Lake Pointe Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Kingdom Leadership Chargers, falling 8-0.

Kingdom Leadership's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Kingdom Leadership is taking a road trip to face off against Lee Park Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Pointe Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Chargers' contest: after the Chargers face off against The Fletcher School, they'll take on Lake Pointe Academy again at 4:00 p.m. on October 7.
