Baseball Recap: Kingstree Takes a Loss

Kingstree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Lake City Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 last Wednesday.

Kingstree's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lake City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kingstree will square off against rival Manning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake City is set to take on their familiar foe Mullins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
