The Bear Creek Bears will take on the Elizabeth Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bear Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Bear Creek will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Saturday, then bounced right back against Pomona on Tuesday. Bear Creek blew past Pomona 5-1. With Bear Creek ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Elizabeth took on Harrison on Tuesday. Elizabeth came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrison, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Elizabeth were the better team in the second half.

Elizabeth now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bear Creek, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Bear Creek took their victory against Elizabeth in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bear Creek since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
