A well-balanced attack led Sound Christian over Providence Classical Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. The Sound Christian Lions put the hurt on the Providence Classical Christian Highlanders with a sharp 53-27 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Sound Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Mesler out in front who posted 21 points along with seven assists and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Mesler has scored at least a third of Sound Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Swazer, who scored eight points and seven steals.

Sound Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Providence Classical Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Sound Christian has already played their next matchup, a 40-26 victory against Forest Ridge Sacred Heart on the 21st. Providence Classical Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
