The Lake Travis Cavaliers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Midway. Given Lake Travis' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Midway is ranked 429th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Travis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Thomas, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. Thomas continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Greer, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.

Lake Travis' victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Lake Travis will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lake Highlands at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Midway, they will square off against Leander at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
