Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freedom). They came out on top against the Berean Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Berean Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Giovanni Ayala, Joshua Esteban, and Angel Valencia.

Freedom's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-2. As for Berean Christian, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against California on the 18th. As for Berean Christian, they will head out to face off against Ygnacio Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ygnacio Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Berean Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
